what is it?
is it something man is trying to prove?

jude the obscure by thomas hardy is one sick book. but after (finally) finishing it, i reckon it's not bad afterall. it seemed like a pain in the arse to read, but after part second, things got better. but i still maintain my stand that jude is a loser and doesn't really gain anything.. in his death, he has merely escaped a timeless society that has degenerated due to the stagnation of religion. oh well.
austen awaits..
