it's over. i can't believe it. i have yet to fathom the fact that i will not be a student any longer - until uni, that is. i am adamant that education is important, yet unwilling thread on the path of routine and obscurity as the years have gone past in this education system. i feel it's time for a change.

plato

i've started on sophie's world, and i'm thoroughly engrossed in its pages (to yana, if you're reading, i really enjoy it so far). why can't education be like plato's academy where discussions are held instead of lessons TAUGHT. teachers don't exactly possess wisdom, but learned knowledge. in the long run, i feel it's the former that will benefit oneself. and just like socrates said, wisest is she who knows she does not know.
