my 15 minutes between classes are usually spent looking at the above - notice boards. they're everywhere on campus; publicising plays, events, rallies or selling textbooks, 2nd/3rd hand cars or anti-iraq, pro-homosexual, 'for christ's sake' campaigns, or advertisements for a new housemate, german tuition or political/historical speeches. very interesting. i tend to feel that each board is different (for obvious and not so obvious reasons), thus as all my classes are held at the arts building, i'm on the prowl for good cheap books, nifty home gadgets (which i actually shouldn't buy) or on the lookout for a catchy 'buy me' slogan to tickle my funny bone.

as i learnt an italian saying,
"advertising is the soul of commerce"
