my first year of uni has ended and i've taken the first two days off just to relax (and reward) myself a little. the next three weeks will be (hopefully) dedicated to studying and *ahem, scoring. nonetheless, the planner that's in every one of us is itching in me too. i foresee much joy after in terms of home, singaporean food, 7-11s, house music and reading for leisure (ok, so i did do some leisure reading here as well, but at least my conscience won't bug me).

we had a farewell-cum-halloween dinner at my hall yesterday. i doubt most people know its celtic irish traditions, for the halloween quiz (hosted by the americans, of course) compromised mainly of questions on movies like scream, halloween(insert which series), nightmare on elm street etc. well then. the sad byproduct of globalisation that is homogeinity via media(aka hollywood) has been clearly manifested in this simple example.

oh, curb i must, the cynic in me.
