peter called in the wee hours of the morning. how fun. i asked of his new apartment opposite Schloß Schönbrunn, how work was going and proclaimed how much i want to go back to Wien. he asked me of uni, my housemate(insider thing) and my travel plans. it was like back in the good ol' days of yesteryear where i used to run to marielle's room to talk, drink wine and plunk myself down on peter's bed or play "the settlers of catan" in jochen's room.
and then there was München where we all met up, had Hofbräuhaus brews, slept altogether in jochen's apartment. joked about hitler, the swiss alps, bavarian leather pants getups, dutch mobile road blocks and fast and efficient singapore. we also suffered together from the indoor smoking that is europe, with much contempt from the young german punks who thought they were über cool. how deluded.
just that one phonecall made me very nostalgic. i miss them and our debates, silliness and laughter.
