my regular calendar checks tell me i have about 5-6 weeks left here. But. my exam timetable has yet to be released. oh, the annoyance i cannot even start to describe.

it's an ambivalent feeling - to be here and knowing that your friends' lives are trudging along life's road(s), and you're not necessary the co-pilot of it. not even a passenger, maybe. yet people are always curious about your life overseas. a friend in singapore's gotten married. jessica's in europe taking time off from uni. marielle's preparing french presentations in switzerland(the below photo was taken in early april). and peter's moved in to his new apartment (opposite schöbrunn!) in wien.

then there's me. i'm just writing essay after essay. doing presentation after presentation - thus perhaps relatively less interesting updates. however, i've developed a quaint appreciation for domesticity, albeit friends would beg to differ upon looking into my room. the fortnightly trips to freo continue.

if that's not routine - i don't know what is.

i look forward to travelling again.

Smile.
