so i've just been bumming around at home, chasing my temperature away. only my runny nose and itchy throat remain, thankfully. it's the last weekend before christmas and i can't really be bothered to head out anyway. i realise my patience is constantly tested when it comes to navigating the ironically wide and spacious boulevards along orchard: people sms-ing while walking or teenagers zig zagging their way through the crowds. where is the system/structure/rules (that we're so known for) in our walking mannerisms?!

oh. i think i've told a lot of people this incident, but since i'm in a light-hearted mood..

one day at tangs, i overheard a housewife tell her posse:

"i couldn't sleep last night!! i toasted and turned for hours!!"

and she said it with such vigour and seriousness i had to give in to the growing smirk, playing at the corner of my lips.
