i was a tv junkie today, thanks to the weather. watching "exploration" on central was very fascinating. i think space and the concept of many millions of galaxies and parallel worlds is indeed interesting, and also simultaneously, scary. fusion, and fission. hmm..i'm not a science student, but i do understand the basics of these concepts. so apparently the sun is still expanding (according to einstein) and in about 500 million years, it'd wipe out the earth as we know it. thus, there has been plans about shifting the human race from earth, to mars. hmm..
when you die, what would be your greatest achievement? what would be your greatest regret. i am scared of death. i know at 19 (goddamnit, i'm not even 20 for crying out loud), i am pretty paranoid about the reality of death. perhaps it's the kid in me just being afraid of losing what i have, yet it could also be the over-aged worrywart that i have "blossomed" into.
when i was younger, i used to write about poems of death, pondering the existence of life after death. i stopped going to church and started venturing and discovering what was there to be discovered. now, i write about life in retrospect. perhaps i'm just blinded, or maybe inspired (ha! talk about disclaimer). but sometimes, really, wake up and smell the coffee.
starbucks, anyone?
