okok. so here's part 2 of the trip - surfing.
surf's up!
getting up
moi
me again
so fun
with my surfing buddies
keigo and his instructor
a little narcissistic
i got hit by another surfer's board while he was riding a wave. fucken hurts. thankfully, i like to rub my bruises and the bump's gone down.
to the airport!
byebye bali..but i'll be back
home sweet home
the people and culture of bali never fail to impress me - everyone is friendly, approachable and extremely nice. from the bell boy, to my surf instructor, to even the beads sellers, they're always curious about you, where you come from and your country + culture. the food is fucken tasty and freaken cheap. so, very "value for money", albeit a tad bit dirty. the clubbing scene totally thrashes singapore's, in terms of club decor, size and furthermore, most of them have open-air concepts, making it very much like a rave. too bad i didn't take pics of them as i was afraid i'd lose my digicam. and their RnB = breakdancing and lots of fast movements i dunno what you call them, as opposed to our rub up against each other what not. i'm not a big fan of rnb. but fwah, watching the local kids kick up a strorm was really good and very enjoyable.
oh yes. i've developed my underwater shots from phuket and bali, whoot! they turned out better than expected and some are surprisingly nice. all in all, this trip was more on learning the balinese culture, cuisine, people and lifestyle; of course, with much surfing involved. just 3 days of 1 1/2h surfing, and i'm really black. we were all dark after the 2nd day of surfing. and now, i believe we're all peeling. hahahahaha!
