so here's one of my favourite, if not, favourite, female novelists, jane austen. yes. i think she's really candid in the way she writes. quite froufrou..i quite like the era of 18th and 19th century. the transition between age of reason to romanticism. austen was in the juxtaposition of both. but ah well. i love that era partly because the romantic writers portray them really beautifully. wilde and austen alike. but i believe one has to be an aristocrat or a content country villager to appreciate life then. lest you become someone like jude fawley, ala thomas hardy style. bleah.
