goodbye february, hello march.

well. i did go out with canoeists today - just not my batch. hohoho. met up with the boys and some other juniors and new faces. it felt really good to see them all again, laughing, making a mickey outta each other, watching zee and marcus play the ps2 with some motion censor..that was very amusing, indeed.

boys will be boys

i watched big fish as well. yay. i like tim burton. have you read the melancholy death of oyster boy? very very morbid, but i like. got it as an anniversary gift from seb (he seems to buy me lots of books aye?) well..the show was very meaningful, combined with burton's signature weirdness and very nice cinematography, it was an enjoying experience as i laughed and cried. only annoyance was the bloody rocking chair seats of lido that do not cater to people above 1.6m and icky kids behind me asking "mummy, why is there a naked woman?" or "why are the 2 women stuck together? how come?!" fuck. i'm not a kiddy person, as you can tell.

nonetheless, it led to think about stories and the grey lines of reality and fiction. lines that i have no problem identifying, ironically, because of my idealism. everything can be make-belief if i wanted to. i think it's scary sometimes. nonetheless, we never know fact from fiction or if fiction is fact until we realize we take things forgranted. i never want to take my dad forgranted, and so far, i reckon i've been rather successful at it. he's not only my provider but very much a role model and friend. oh ya. we're going to koh samui this friday. hohum. as min said "koh sufen going to koh samui" HAWHAW.

another canoeist

i know i know, what's the hype about canoeing anyway? well..the races will begin in about 2 weeks' time, that's why. it'll be really exciting. deja vu baby.

"heheh another inspiration is sufen. it's funny how the ppl u barely know or rather barely hang out with can have such an impact on u. sufen is incredible at that. her confidence and attitude just inspires u and gives u strength. she's strong but she doesnt tear u down. she helps u up, she radiates strength. and thanks sufen coz u'll never know how much uve helped me in my journey"

thank you aishah, if you hadn't written something like that, i would've kept believing that everyone in school thinks i'm stuck up and snobby. i guess those are just my walls. thank you for letting me know. remember, they can eat our dust yea?

march will be an eventful month. with results, applications and prolly life-changing experiences. hohum. to a dear friend, beware the ides of march.

Smile.
